LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Air France-KLM, Europe's largest airline, said Thursday it had held "exploratory talks" with Italian carrier Alitalia, as it posted a 26% increase in quarterly profit on higher ticket prices and a surge in demand for travel to Asia.
