SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Broadcom Corp. was active in late trading Friday following the chipmaker's plan to record a higher than anticipated charge related to stock-option expensing, while Shuffle Master Inc. ticked up after a 10% loss during the regular session.
