FAIRFIELD, NJ (MARKET WIRE) Kearny Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: KRNY) (the "Company"), the holding company of Kearny Federal Savings Bank (the "Bank"), today reported net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 of $1.4 million. The results represent an increase of $346,000 compared to net income of $1.0 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 and an increase of $829,000 compared to net income of $547,000 for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
