SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. reported Tuesday lower second-quarter net profit and sales and affirmed its 2006 outlook, saying it anticipates earnings generated during the second half to be "up significantly" from 2005.
